Composition for an electric ensemble sets the stage for the transformative process of cable static noises in a conventional electric band. Superimposing it with other noise sources, these create a continuously varying noise timbral mass, slowly evolving to introduce tonal materials. Over time, the mass scatters out, leaving behind a sparse space of microsounds.

The piece employs signal processing using a MaxMSP patch. When performed live, a desirable mix should be achieved between dry signals, processed sounds, as well as synthesized sounds.

Composition for an electric ensemble was first written and premiered for the Tacet(i) ensemble as part of the International Composition Institute Thailand in the IntAct Festival 2022. The piece was then extensively revised to form the current 2025 version.
